Tilly's Journey to glory

When I met Tilly at only 4 years old, she had such a glowing energy that made me smile without hesitation. As we made our way through the Hunter/Jumper world, I soon felt that Tilly wanted more from her job which is when I decided to bring her back to my roots; Dressage. She wasn’t the horse people expected to see in the dressage arena. She was underestimated from the start—she was dismissed, and quietly labeled as "not enough" to be a Dressage Horse. But what they didn’t see was her heart. And mine. We have put our heart and soul into our connection outside of the ring and in our Liberty Training to accelerate our competitive spirit.

In November of 2024, I decided to do what was best for our future together and move to Florida to continue our education and our journey together. Since arriving here in Florida, we had a rough first year but even with the few bumps in the road, she showed up for me everyday inside and outside the arena. She is always able put a smile on my face, and never fails to show me the way through the darkest of times. It is  the bond we were building and the belief that with enough patience, trust, and work, we could get there. I call her my "mirror image", and that is without a doubt the truth, and I am hers. Anything I feel even if I don't know it she shows it to me for the soul purpose of helping me work on myself. She is selfless and undeniably special. She has opened her entire heart to me and that is the greatest gift she could ever give me.

This page is dedicated to Tilly, and the future of her success in the Dressage arena in Regional and National level of the Arabian Horse Association as we conquer my USDF medals together and head to Prix St. George as an unstoppable duo.
